If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Handbook for Preclears.
This book really helped me with understanding life and the condition I was in and how to improve myself. It has exercises that you can do to change your attitude, it helped me look at problems and fixed conditions. It's a real do it yourself book.
